Last Sensation in the Amsterdam ArenA

On Saturday July 8, 2017, the very last Sensation will take place in Amsterdam. With ‘The Final’ as theme, the Amsterdam ArenA will be transformed into the biggest club on earth for one last time. Sensation will continue to exist as a concept abroad.

With the slogan ‘It’s time to say goodbye’, after 18 years ID&T is saying farewell to Sensation in the Netherlands, celebrating its final event with a phenomenal lineup with, Mr. White, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Fedde Le Grand, Hardwell and Axwell & Ingrosso. Fedde Le Grand, the DJ with the most Sensation performances worldwide to his name, presents for this occasion live the Megamix with the greatest hits from Sensation’s past and present. Sensation is keeping one DJ under wraps as a surprise act. The last hour promises to be a sensational farewell of Sensation with a large number of Dutch DJs. They will all fill the stage and spin back to back as grand finale of Sensation ‘The Final’.

Music is our religion, Celebrate life is our belief #SensationWhite Trailer of Sensation – The Final:

ID&T-founder and spiritual father of Sensation, Duncan Stutterheim: ‘Since 2000 Sensation has been one of the pillars of ID&T. We had the idea to transform the ArenA into the biggest club in the world. That was a success. With the theme White we have also always celebrated life, not only in our own country but globally. Our dream to have everyone dance in white has come true. I do understand, however, that resent-day ID&T has to take a new step. And that begins with saying goodbye to Sensation in our own country. On July 8 I will take leave of Sensation with an enormously good feeling, but at the same time I’m also curious about what will be next.’

About Sensation

The evolution Sensation went through was impossible to foresee almost twenty years ago. The party known as ‘the world’s leading dance event’ has by now grown into a worldwide phenomenon. In no fewer than 34 countries on five continents over two million people have danced dressed in white, with one mission in common: Celebrate life! Sensation lived up to its name with themes that involved the audience by means of the white dress code. The concept won awards for ‘best event of the year’ in, among other places, the Netherlands, Germany, Australia, Brazil, India and Denmark. Moreover, ID&T was proclaimed ‘best event promotor in the world’ no fewer than four times. Sensation uses the positive power of music and dance as a universal language that connects millions of people
